Help my Furniture is too Big for my Room!

 One of the most common homeowner design mistakes is buying over sized – or undersized – furniture for their home. Have you ever walked into a room and thought it was cavernous even though there was plenty of furniture in the room? Or found that no matter how you’ve placed your furnishings you just can’t move around the room comfortably?  When you are buying new furniture be sure you know the dimensions of your room – especially the length of the walls – remember those windows and doors.  Take a tape measure when shopping for new furnishings.  Furniture proportionate to the room will provide the right look and scale for your space thus eliminating costly mistakes and disappointment in your selection.
